Poke Bowls

 
 

Filled with fresh veggies, this poke bowl is a great substitute for sushi rolls. It is easy to weigh out your ingredients for meal prep so you are able to calculate all of your macros, easily.

  • 1 pound sushi grade tuna or salmon

  • ¼ cup coconut aminos

  • 1 tsp rice vinegar

  • 1 ½ tsp sesame oil

  • ⅓ cup green onions

  • ½ tsp sesame seeds, plus more for garnish

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine all poke ingredients.  You can serve right away, or marinate for at least an hour in the refrigerator.

Optional bowl ingredients

  • Rice

  • Salad greens

  • Shredded carrots

  • Shredded beets

  • Edamame

  • Cucumber

  • Avocado

  • Fresh ginger

  • Eel sauce

  • Sriracha sauce

  • Seaweed salad

Instructions

  • Add any of the optional bowl ingredients to the bowl, top with tuna/salmon poke.  Garnish with sesame seeds and enjoy!
