Oven Baked Asian BBQ Salmon

 
 

This is my absolute favorite recipe to make! So easy, and quick to make, this sweet and savory salmon pairs well with stir fry vegetables or broccoli, and garlic rice.

  • 1 large fresh salmon fillet

  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic

  • 1 tsp ginger

  • ½ cup Asian BBQ sauce (regular BBQ sauce will also work)

  • Scallions (for garnish)

  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

  • Combine coconut aminos, sesame oil, chopped garlic, ginger and BBQ sauce in a small bowl and mix together.

  • Baste salmon with sauce and wrap loosely in foil.  Bake for 15 minutes.  

  • Remove salmon from the oven, uncover, and baste with BBQ sauce.  Leave uncovered and bake 5+ minutes, until cooked through.

  • Serve with garlic rice and fresh veggie stir fry, or broccoli.

*This recipe is also great on the grill!
